It was Kirsty's sheer passion, confidence and unique attitude that captivated an audience of one hundred rural youth under 35 at the Young Beef Producers' Forum. There was something about Kirsty's style that I couldn't quite put my finger on, that amazingly won over the aged, somewhat skeptical farmers in the group. I feel that Kirsty was an exceptional role model to the whole audience, having achieved all that she has at such a young age. In particular I feel she gave the young women in the crowd that extra confidence boost needed to strive for success in a previously male dominated industry.
